Greenly sponsored the first Cannabis Living meetup on Wednesdaym February 5th. The “Exploring Edibles” event at the Kitchen Terminal was a huge success. Over 100 guests showed up and participated in a baking edibles discussion moderated by Greenly’s founder, Emily Meyers. Our special panel were executives from leading edible companies, including Auntie Dolores, Venice Cookie Company, and EdiPure.
The discussion covered a wide range of topics, which delved into the chemistry of baking Cannabis, the evolution of edible products, how regulations would effect the industry, and the differences and dosage of each edible. The panel also touched on what to look for when choosing edibles and how to decide the best edibles for your needs. All participants were welcomed into the discussion and asked questions that kept a lively conversation going through the evening.
The Kitchen Terminal, a commercial kitchen rental facility, allowed guests to freely tour during the event for motivation to any who were interested in building their own edible line or who simply enjoy recreational baking while also enjoying free pizza and cocktails. In addition, guests received complimentary giftbags containing treats from our special panel. The edibles ranged from brownies to lemonade and candies with different levels of dosage to sample. The bags were worth over $50 of tasty treats.
Cannabis Living will continue to put on events in the Los Angeles area to bring together the community and promote healthy living though the use of Cannabis. Visit the Meetup page to learn more and be up-to-date for future events.
